Adult Ministry
Our Christian education practices are built on the tradition of John Wesley, the founder of Methodism. Nearly 300 years ago, he organized small covenant discipleship groups in which members prayed for one another, provided mutual encouragement, and studied the Bible in light of daily experiences, recognizing that these practices stirred believers to love and good works. They became stronger, more committed Christians. His methods still bear fruit.
Adult Sunday School Class
Adult Sunday School is held primarily on the 4th Floor from 9:50 AM - 10:50 AM. Adult Sunday School begins with fellowship time starting at 9:30 AM followed by a group gathering of all classes in the 4th Floor Meeting Room at
9:50 AM, dismissing to individual classes at approximately 10:00 AM.
Women's Ministries
First Houston United Methodist Church Women’s Ministry is a group that helps women stay connected to God, build relationships, and grow in faith. If you are interested in joining our ministry, We have several groups and activities you can be a part of in the Women’s Ministry.
