At First Houston United Methodist Church, our faith doesn't stay within these walls. We are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus. It all starts here in Houston, Lifeline to the Homeless. Every week, we provide food, clothing, and dignity to our downtown neighbors. From sack lunches to Metro cards for job interviews, we’re here to provide the "extra boost" someone needs to get back on their feet. Neighbors in Action partners with families in Port Houston and surrounding communities to transform lives through spiritual growth, education, and meeting basic needs. And our heart for service reaches far beyond the city limits. We partner with indigenous ministries and organizations to spread hope all around the world.
